Take a trip to McKinley Elementary School on Saturday, November 8th, 11:00am-3:00pm to the World’s Fair! This eagerly awaited event promises a captivating exploration of diverse nations as parents, students, and teachers come together to celebrate the rich tapestry of our global and local community. 

 

Upon arrival, attendees will receive a passport that will be stamped at each country display they visit, making it an educational and interactive experience. While exploring representative tables, enjoy hands-on crafts inspired by cultures from around the world, and experience exciting performances throughout the day — including music, dance, and storytelling. 

 

This is a cash-only event, with purchases available for international foods, a wide variety of baked goods, raffle basket tickets, and vendor items — all adding to the multicultural celebration.

Festivities will begin at 11:00 AM with an Olympic-style opening ceremony featuring the Parade of Nations, followed by captivating performances from diverse cultural groups throughout the day.

 

Everyone ages 5+ will need a ticket to attend this event. Discounted tickets for $6.50 can be purchased here until 11/7 or admission will be $8 per person, payable in cash at the door. 

 

The McKinley School World’s Fair is a beloved bi-annual tradition. The event has attracted hundreds of attendees, thanks to its diverse array of cultural experiences and entertainment. Proceeds from this event go directly to the ongoing success of this event and to supporting multi-cultural experiences sponsored by the McKinley PTA.
